August:  The Canadian Medical Association Journal published an article describing the case of a Saskatchewan infant whose routine circumcision resulted in urinary tract obstruction, massive bladder distension, and compression of the inferior vena cava. The physician who carried out the circumcision believed the procedure had been performed uneventfully. [Full text].
