Circumcision has been alleged to prevent or cure very many diseases and disorders. Below is an alphabetical list of some of the conditions for which physicians have recommended circumcision. Each entry in the list is supported by a reference from the medical literature. Due to space limitations, only one reference is cited for each entry, though in many cases scores of references exist.
